As the CEO of Life Watering Words, LLC and President of First Step - Fresh Start, Inc., she is committed to breaking barriers in mental health care, removing stigma, and advocating for holistic healing. Dr. Wheeler integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Family Systems Therapy into her approach, emphasizing the importance of nonverbal communication and individualized treatment.
With certifications in Yoga Therapy, 12-Step Recovery, and Reiki Energy Healing, she promotes a holistic and integrative approach to mental, physical, and emotional wellness. Her research focuses on bridging the gap between mental health counseling and religion, particularly in marginalized and underserved communities.

Dr. Wheeler is a Florida Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and a Marriage and Family Therapy Qualified Supervisor with years of experience in supervising Counselors in Training (CITs). She has worked with individuals recovering from anxiety, PTSD, addiction, and trauma, using a refreshing, innovative, and personalized therapeutic approach.
She serves on the Health and Human Services Advisory Board at Ultimate Medical Academy (UMA) and teaches in Barry University’s Master’s Mental Health Counseling and Marriage & Family Therapy Clinical Program.
