Meditation you can do on your feet

Walking meditation means paying calm attention while you walk: your steps, your breath, the world around you.

It’s a good fit if closing your eyes and sitting still makes you more anxious. It’s still meditation for anxiety, just in motion.

How it works

  1. Step 1: Open Walking

On Home, go to Feel Better Daily and tap Walking.

  2. Step 2: Choose a session

Each one shows its title, length and who guides it.

  3. Step 3: Listen to the Therapist Voice

Hear a short sample, so you know the voice feels right.

  4. Step 4: Tap PLAY NOW

Check in from 1 (Panic) to 10 (Calm), then settle in.

  5. Step 5: Listen

The audio keeps playing with your screen locked, with controls on your lock screen.

  6. Step 6: MARK AS COMPLETED

Then check in again and see how you feel.

Why walking meditation can help

Anxiety often shows up as restlessness: energy with nowhere to go. Walking gives it somewhere to go.

Paying attention to your steps and surroundings is a form of grounding. It pulls your attention out of worry and into the present.

And gentle movement is good for stress in its own right.

  • Uses restless energy
  • Grounds you in the present
  • Easy to fit into your day
