Deep relaxation, guided for you

Hypnosis is a state of focused, deep relaxation. A calm voice guides your attention inward, with slow pacing and gentle suggestions.

In the app, it’s also one tap away when you’re anxious: tap SOS, choose “Are you feeling Anxious?”, then Hypnosis Session. Want the background first? Read about hypnotherapy for anxiety.

Why hypnosis can help

Anxiety keeps your body on alert. Deep relaxation helps it come down from that state, even for a little while.

In a relaxed, focused state, calming suggestions can feel easier to take in. Many people find hypnosis eases tension and quiets an anxious mind. It works in a similar spirit to other body-calming techniques, like progressive muscle relaxation.

Like most skills, it tends to work better with repetition.

  • Helps your body relax deeply
  • Gives an anxious mind a gentle focus
  • Builds a calming routine

Listen safely

Never listen while driving or doing anything that needs your full attention. If you have epilepsy, psychosis or a history of dissociation, check with your doctor before using hypnosis.

Use it alongside therapy

These are self-guided relaxation sessions, not hypnotherapy with a trained professional. They can be a calming extra alongside your therapy.
